Hi! My name is Paulina Katewicz. I am the owner and founder of the DASHSTRAW brand.
DASHSTRAW is a Polish brand of swimwear, founded in 2020 for women who, like me, love fashion and have their own style.
All the products we offer are the original work of designers made by craftsmen - knitting virtuosos. It all happens in the ideology of slow fashion that is close to my heart. Although these are new, innovative projects, they were made with the technology known to civilization from the beginning of our era with the use of modern, ecological materials.
How it all started
I've wanted something of my own for a long time. In the eyes of my imagination, I saw a brand that will meet the expectations of even the most demanding women looking for something unique and practical at the same time. My disappointments so far have resulted in the idea of producing knitted swimwear that is attractive and is the perfect combination of traditional craftsmanship and romantic, modern cuts.
The DASHSTRAW woman is a self-confident traveler who has a love for nature, appreciates comfort and is not afraid to follow her dreams, which is why my dream is that my swimwear would bring to mind carefree days spent with friends and unforgettable experiences, about that can be told for hours.
I love beauty and I believe that aesthetic experiences have a rich potential for the sphere of the senses. Thanks to them, I try to influence our clients by showing how extraordinary and unique they are. I want to reach them through a modern, creative look at the world around us, indicate the most important values for every human being, including the freedom of the individual and the need to accept one's individuality. We all have the right to be ourselves, even if it means breaking the usual patterns and swimming against the tide. At the same time, we deeply believe in friendship and identification with the group with which, together - thanks to our creativity and identical goals, we will change the world. What has so far seemed unreal, we will transform into a new reality.
